Original illustration from Curtis's Botanical Magazine, published as plate 1913, 1st June 1817. Watercolour and pencil on paper. This species is a native of the Cape of Good Hope and was introduced into England by Mr Francis Masson in 1790. The drawing was taken at Mr Whitley's.
