'Foliage, Flowers, and Fruit of a Queensland Tree, and Black Cockatoo.-Macadamia ternifolia, F. Muell., belongs to the Proteaceae, and is closely allied to Helicia, which extends northward to Oil on board, no date. According to the 'Official Guide to the North Gallery', Fifth Edition, 1892; 'India, China, and Japan. This bird (Calyptorhynchus Banksii) alone has a beak strong enough to crack the nuts of the Macadamia'.
