According to the 'Official Guide to the North Gallery', Fifth Edition, 1892, ; 'The Breadfruit, Artocarpus incisa, Linn., is a tree of moderate size, a native of the South Sea Islands, where its fruit forms the chief food of the inhabitants, answering in use and taste our potato. A cloth is made from the fibre of the young trees; canoes from the trunks, and a kind of glue from the sap...The Butterflies are Papilio polytes'.
