Original drawing for plate XXXVII in John Lindley's Sertum orchidaceum: a wreath of the most beautiful orchidaceous flowers; selected by John Lindley, published in 1838. Part monochromatic part colour study of the leaves and flowers, Miss Drake's original notes appear to have been erased from the top edge of the drawing. Two dried specimens of orchid flowers have been mounted onto the drawing, one bottom right, one centre left. Also four small colour studies of the flower parts on left of main drawing
