Director's House and Garden. Kew. Sir William Turner Thiselton-Dyer and Harriet Anne Thiselton-Dyer (Nee Hoche). He became Assistant Director of Kew in 1875 and succeeded Joseph Hooker as Director in 1885. His wife Harriet was Joseph's eldest daughter.
