See File 291B No.22 - The background of the table top is probably figured Totara (Podocarpus totara), with some of the larger inlays of Rewa (Knightia excelsa) and Kauri (Agathis australis). The light coloured wood is probably White Pine or Kahikatea (Podocarpus dacrydiodes) and the wood used for reddish brown inlays Rimu or Red Pine (Dacrydium cupressinum).
- The table has undergone major restoration in 1992 at David Hordens workshop; most notably a large crack running through the centre of the table was repaired. See file QL291B No.22
